Covid-19 Response Statement 

Your safety, health, and well-being are of the utmost importance to Birmingham Wellness Massage.  We understand that there are many concerns and we want to assure you that we are doing all that we can to protect clients and staff to prevent the spread of the disease.

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the world, we are closely watching for updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and we will continue to follow their recommendations.

In an effort to mitigate the risks associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Birmingham Wellness Massage has asked our staff and clients to do the following:


  • It is our strict policy that sick employees, regardless of illness, stay home.

  • Multiple times throughout each day all work and common areas are being thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by Birmingham Wellness Massage Staff.

  • Between every client session, the massage room will be thoroughly sanitized, including the changing of all table linens and blankets.

  • Before every client session, Massage Therapist washes hands for 30+ seconds in warm water with soap.

  • Our staff will be practicing social distancing of 6 ft at times other than the performance of the massage.

  • Our staff will wear a face mask at all times interacting with clients.

  • We are reminding our employees to cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue, limit touches to their faces.

  • We are educating our staff on infection prevention and control measures.

  • Massage sessions are by appointment only to ensure limited client traffic.

  • We are continuing scheduling and performing massages with some modifications.  We are limiting our appointments to keep the lobby and common area traffic to a minimum.

For those clients who are immune-compromised, have a history of immunosuppressants, autoimmune disorders, asthma, diabetes, or heart disease; please contact our office directly for special accommodations.

We are committed to doing our part to keep you healthy and will continue to communicate any changes in services to you as quickly as possible.  I personally want to thank you for supporting Birmingham Wellness Massage over the years.  We love what we do and our amazing clients are the reasons why!

Late Cancellation Policy

Birmingham Wellness Massage strives to provide the best service possible. We are also responsible for our therapists' service and time as massage therapist professionals. 

We will gladly reschedule or cancel a massage up to 24 hours before a scheduled massage. If a massage needs to be canceled within 24 hours, we will charge $45 for a canceled massage of 60 minutes or less. For massages lasting more than 60 minutes, a $60 fee will be cha. 

No Show Policy

A person who books a massage and does not show up for the massage will be charged the full price if there has been no communication of a cancellation. Our therapists will wait 15 minutes after the massage start time before considering the client a “No Show”.
